Our customer sent the Oben limit switch in on a semi-urgent basis as it was not indicating when a high level had been attained.
The line could run but multiple manual checks had to be made throughout the shift. We could barely see what we were working with until the contaminant, in this case icing sugar was removed from the outer casing. Inside, a dual segment cam operated 2 NO micro switches, one of which has failed the other not far behind.
Both limit switches were replaced, all internal wiring inspected for continuity and the entire unit returned to the customer on a 48hr turnaround.
