Technique will be responsible for helping Siemens continue to grow its Motion Control business in the UK. Technique was established at Trafford Park, Manchester, 14 years ago, from where it provides automation support for a products entire lifecycle, from specification and design, to build, integration, retro-fits, obsolescence support and repair / maintenance programmes. Its in-house technical support capabilities were a major factor in Siemens‘ selection.

Technique will be the second Siemens Technical Partner to stock and supply SINAMICS servo drives, motors and motion control products for projects, holding stock to ensure it can respond quickly to customers. The company has significant automation expertise within the food, beverage, packaging and plastics industries, and more recently has been working in the steel, minerals, petro-chemical and energy-from-waste industries.
